Membership is open to Christian men and women who wish to live their faith by loving their neighbour in the service of the needy, reaching out through visits. Last year 10,000 members made over 600,000 visits to people in need. As a result 110,000 individuals gained friendship and support and practical assistance. St Osburg’s Church Restoration – The Mother Church of our city is due to be restored, beginning this autumn. It will be a major project. The project will require city-wide assistance.

The total development is 12 to 18 months beginning 2009.  The phasing of the development is such the first phase will see a temporary store located next to the church (16m) until the new store can be used.
